Make sure you take snacks and some kind of protection. Gorgeous park. We got lost and followed the creek back to a trail. Go but be careful to not loose the trail.

3.5 stars. I enjoyed this hike. It was quite peaceful to be able to hear the water running for most of the hike. It did, however, leave me wanting more! While there were occasional views of the surrounding mountains, there wasn't a clear summit or point that had a direct view. They are lots of views of the creek and re waterfall. So although it as a good workout, I probably wouldn't do this hike as I felt the view wasn't quite worth the effort.

great hike, about 3 miles from parking lot to 'waterfall' with significant hills. beautiful and a good workout. the waterfall is not impressive but still a great hike by the marshlands, river and then into the forest, magical & great view of the lake once you reach the top of the grade

Most of the trail is tame but you then make a big 1000' plus accent past the waterfall and then back down. Loved it. Trail is well marked and well maintained. Felt safe hiking here, passed half a dozen other hikers along the way.
