I love Clarksburg State Park. The hiking loop around the lake is lovely, the campground is very nice, and kayaking on the lake is delightful. Such a local gem.

A beautiful gem nestled in the land between the Berkshire and Green mountains. Camping is comfortable in the summer. Facilities are kept clean and are up to date. The trails are easy to moderate and can be walked year round. The pond and beach make it fun to swim and relax in a beach chair.

My wife and I went with family and friends and this is a very nice off grid camping location. There are places to hike and a great Veterans War Memorial close. The camp ground is quiet and wooded but we had very little trouble with bugs.

I spent a week here with my lady and it was great. The bathroom and showers were spotless and plenty of hot water when taking a shower. We spent the week fishing and kayaking. The staff is very friendly. I was very surprised by how few people were there. My lady and I felt like we had the entire park to ourselves. We will definitely be back.
