Really beautiful part of the park. I left from here to climb Black Elk Mountain. I went on a weekday in September, and I was surprised at how many cars were at the trailhead when I returned.

A great starting trailhead to either do just the Spires, or connect to Black Elk Peak and Little Devil's Tower. The initial hike is absolutely beautiful but will be challenging for the inexperienced or out of shape. One of my favorite places in all of the world!

Spectacular park that offer hiking bike riding and the famous needles drive. I enjoyed this during Sturgis of 2024 along with thousands of others for sure. The wait was long but the drive through was amazing . Mother nature out performed herself in this creation of rocks for sure. Thank you 🤙

Such a fun easy hike for kids and family. Going during September was the best! The fall colors were amazing and the mounties just sparkle. I only took some photos of before getting to the end. 😕
