Ah Indian Rock Park. Another childhood favorite place for me. It amazes me how it still stands to this day. 😃 I remember two ways to climb up to the top of the rock (If there is another way up lol.) But the top of the rock is so breathtaking, it helps all worries in life go away in an instant when seeing the view. I see so many beer cans and cigarette buds on the top and other stuff as well that I won't say lol. But it is great that this place can still hold wonderful memories for a lot of folks. Even myself. If one is ever in Berkeley, you gotta visit Indian Rock. One won't be disappointed ✨️.

Good boulders, good vibes Probably the easiest approach I've ever had to get to real rocks. I think the grades are slightly soft or maybe I got stronger? I visited on a Sunday with beautiful weather and the place was packed -- which means more crash pads and more pep squad, but may be lacking some of the peaceful wilderness that some may be looking for when outdoor climbing. No idea where restrooms are

I went to boulder here with some friends and we all loved the place. Super unique location in a neighborhood and it offers amazing views of the bay and SF. If you are climbing, don’t forget to visit Mortar park down the road which is more shady with trees.

A wonderful spot to hang out in I came here several times both with friends and alone. There are some climbers around trying their best to climb the back of the rock while most normal people climb the front to get an awesome view of the bay area. People are friendly and start up conversations with you. The sunset here is amazing.

Cool place to have a nice view, some people used to practice rock climbing and rappelling.
