Good place to fish, mostly from boat and places to camp and swim. Short distance from Spokane. Long lake is experiencing a charge for the better. With the walleye and northern Pike in it now, the over population of other fish is being cut back allowing the fish more forage to grow larger. Perch and crappie are noticeable larger as others.

This lake needs more regulations put on it, it was very packed to many dogs, I felt they may get me tangled in there chains and leashes and harm me ppl show up after you get there early for a shelter and just move in on you until you leave in the middle of a hot day. Wasn't enjoyable at all.

My very favorite place in the world. We lived on the lake for many years. I even have a tattoo that represents it. It’s gotten waaay too busy on the weekends, but during the week it’s dead. You basically have the entire lake to yourself. ❤️

I've been coming to Long Lake for 20 years (i was 12), my parents have lived on the lake for 10+years and I also live here as well going on 6 years and now raising my daughter on the lake! More housing developments have made the population grow substantially since I was a kid! And there has been a huge increase in "illegal" activity mail box robbing and vehicle theft. And in such a rural area there is no public transportation or safe walking trails along the highway for those of us who do not have a vehicle. That's the biggest thing that bothers me living here.
