We did not take the trail, didn't know there was a trail here. However we swam on the other side of the road on Wilson's creek. It's wide enough were my 7 yr old felt comfortable with her life vest and I was able to supervise without any worry. There are a few deep spots to lookout for, and the rapids further down, but overall a great spot for swimming on a NONE BUSY DAY. Don't go for the holidays.

Quick and easy trail to waterfall. Parting limited to a few cars. Parking is on opposite side of bridge than trailhead. Also there is a small sandy beach across from trail head. Elevation gain is less than 200. Not strenuous.

Beautiful place, You can set up your own grills and cook, The water is cool and cleanPlaces on the side of the hills where you can jump off into the waterGreat getaway place. Only one thing hard to find a parking place

Trailhead parking (fits about 3 cars) is across the bridge, but the trailhead is located back on the opposite side. Short 1 mile round trip trail to the falls. A little steep towards the end. Falls were beautiful! The trail continues onward.
