Decent hike leads to beautiful views. From burnt forest with wildflowers growing back to thicker green trees and even a few ponds before you reach the waterfall the trail is nice. Maybe halfway steep hill that doesn’t last long and the rest is fairly easygoing. The views of the valley are awesome cliff sides the closer you get and you can hear the waterfall as you move further along the trail. Even looking at the huge pine trees near the falls that survived the wildfire is awesome.

Absolutely breathtaking and pretty easy hike. The mosquitoes devoured us on the way back so make sure to bring repellent!

This waterfall is awesome! It’s 5.5 miles out and back on a really nice trail and mostly flat.

The waterfall is absolutely stunning! One of Montana’s more beautiful waterfalls. The hike to get there however is less to be desired and that’s the only reason I knock off a star. It’s a pretty easy hike. One part gets steep but only for maybe a quarter of a mile. The views on the hike aren’t the best and the only animals I saw were pet dogs. Still worth the drive/hike to see the waterfall. There is a trail that goes to the left just before you reach the waterfall. That trail takes you to the top of the fall. We did the hike end of May, very full with all the snow melt.

Decent hike, grade isn't bad and goes up and down. Very clear and nice trail. There are a couple of camping spots close to the falls.
