Good luck getting in. You have to arrive here early if you want a parking spot. Line up gets crazy. We went here on a Monday at 9am and it was probably 40% capacity. Super hot with little shade here. You’ll need to walk about 600-800m to get into the actual canyon. Would recommend a tent and chairs. Bring a wagon if you have a lot of things. There’s also a short shady hike nearby.

Very beautiful park, it was definitely worth the long drive, make sure to bring water shoes as the rocks are very slippery in the river. (I used regular crocs and was totally fine) The water is really cold so be prepared. I paid 20$ for the entrance (per car) you can bring your own food as there are many picnic areas around the park, also don’t forget to bring some type of shade or find a nice place under a tree.

Slide Rock State Park is great, especially on a hot day or after a nice hike. The water is really cold, but it’s the perfect refreshment in the heat. The natural slides are a lot of fun and make it a unique experience. Definitely worth a visit and the money!

Absolutely beautiful place! Went and walked around. Seen people jumping into the water. Looked very cold!! Very pretty views in every direction and trails are very nice to walk on. Had a great time. Cost $10 to enter the park, which wasn't horrible for a few hours of walking around the park. They also had nice bathrooms, and they were clean.

Absolutely breathtaking and beautiful! This is a Sedona treasure and well worth the visit. People of all ages were enjoying this. There is a natural water slide to go down, cliff jumping, orchards, a shop, picnic areas and more.
