This place is so cool! The birds really will eat right out of your hand. You have to keep your eyes open for where they are congregating at the time you are there. Last time we went it was cold and windy so the birds were staying more in the woods than on the "ridge." Also, please don't feed birds bread or processed carbs. It's really bad for them and you can hurt them! If you keep your eyes open and have a little patience, you'll definitely make some feathered friends. Also helps to go when not many other people are there.
