If you want to escape the busy streets of Petion-Ville, consider hiking to Seguin. The view is awesome and the mountains go miles and miles. hough, you need to be mentally and physically ready for the road since it is a 7.76 mile long trek uphill from Ti-Miska (near Kenscoff) to Seguin. Once up there, you can arrange your stay with a guesthouse for as long as you want.

Nice pine forest under deforestation presure. Visitors can get there from Kenscoff in Port-au-prince or from Jacmel-Peredo then to Segen. Visitor can espect to observe several endemic birds, frogs, and the Hispaniolan Hutia, one of the two last remaining Hispaniola land mammals.
