Guided day and multi‑day kayak tours to Columbia Glacier, Shoup Glacier, Meares Glacier, and coastal wilderness.
Pangaea Adventures is a Yukon‑to‑coast sea kayak outfitter specializing in guided glacier and coastal excursions in Prince William Sound and surrounding Alaska waterways. Operating a curated collection of day trips and multi‑day kayak camping journeys, the company organizes guided departures to iconic tidewater glaciers including Columbia Glacier, Shoup Glacier, and Meares Glacier.
Each tour combines shoreline paddling, wildlife viewing, beach camping, and guided glacier approaches. Trip offerings range from short instructional outings—like the Duck Flats 3‑hour sea kayak tour—to extended expeditions such as the eight‑day Meares Glacier to Columbia Glacier route. Many multi‑day trips include beach camping, guided meals prepared by the guides, and shoreline hikes to vantage points for glacier and waterfall views.
Safety, small group sizes, and experienced leadership are emphasized. Guides are trained in sea kayak instruction, group management, and wilderness camping. Equipment and logistics are planned to match each itinerary and expected conditions in Prince William Sound, with attention to tides, weather, and wildlife encounters. Pangaea Adventures markets trips for a broad range of paddlers: beginners looking for an introductory guided paddle, families seeking wildlife and beach experiences, and experienced paddlers pursuing remote glacier travel.
Third‑party trip descriptions and customer reviews reinforce the operator’s reputation for scenic routes, knowledgeable guides, and consistent logistics, making it a dependable option for sea kayak glacier touring in Alaska.
