Pedal-Powered Art Parties: Sip and Spin Private Event in Annapolis

Sip and Spin Art's Private Event converts a bright studio in Annapolis into a lively creative workshop where paint and pedal power collide. Located at 2002 Annapolis Mall Dr., Suite # 2325, Annapolis, MD 21401, this 45-minute experience guides groups through bicycle spin art, pour techniques, and textured mixed-media projects while participants use a blender bike to mix refreshing drinks. The program turns canvases and cocktails into collaborative, physical projects that reward experimentation and group energy. The studio’s central attractions are a bicycle spin rig that suspends canvases on a rotating axis, an electric spin wheel that produces precise centrifugal patterns, and a custom blender bike that converts pedal power into frothy mocktails or smoothies. Staff demonstrate color mixing, paint viscosity, and safe handling of wet media so no prior art training is required. Guests choose methods, pick palettes, and decide whether to amplify pieces with glitter, stones, stickers, or three-dimensional elements. The format suits mixed-ability private groups: some members pedal and blend while others build delicate pour layers, and everyone watches paintings emerge accompanied by laughter. Practical logistics are visitor-friendly: canvases, paints, aprons, and basic tools are provided; wear clothes you don’t mind splattering. Booking secures a private time slot and the itinerary follows a short demo, drink mixing, creation, and packaging of finished pieces to take home. For travelers staying in Annapolis, the studio provides a social complement to Marina-lined walks, the U.S. Naval Academy campus, and downtown restaurants. As a private event option, this experience shines for birthdays, bridal parties, corporate off-sites, and family gatherings—converting creative curiosity into tangible keepsakes. Hosts can bring photos or objects to incorporate into mixed-media canvases, and staff offer finishing and framing tips so work travels safely. Accessibility details and group limits should be confirmed at booking and parties are encouraged to arrive a few minutes early for orientation. While studio-based rather than outdoors, the combination of mechanical motion, tactile experimentation, and social conviviality makes Private Event more than an art class: it becomes a compact party engine that fits neatly into a day in Annapolis, offering a cheerful, creative alternative to the tourist stops.
