- This is our popular nature lovers “coffee cruise” We cruise towards downtown and around the Ross Island natural area. On this tour we seek out all forms of the river’s natural beauty and wildlife! On any given cruise we should see bald eagles, osprey, blue heron, deer, turtles, otters, and beavers! During the fishing season we may even see sea lions chasing salmon!
- Regardless of the direction of travel, and no matter where we go, the Willamette River is full of natural beauty and wildlife! Cruising in either direction you will see some of Oregon’s beautiful nature in the city, historical landmarks, famous movie locations, and even some old movie props. Most people do not know that several major Hollywood movies have been filmed on and near the banks of the Willamette River!
