Powerscourt Estate spans over 1,000 acres of picturesque landscapes, steeped in centuries of history. Situated at the foothills of the Wicklow Mountains, the estate is predominantly known for its meticulously maintained gardens, which cover 47 acres and are considered some of the best in Ireland. Created over two main periods, the gardens boast elegant Italian and Japanese designs, along with a large walled garden, a rose garden, and graceful terraces offering expansive views of the surrounding countryside. The estate also houses Powerscourt Waterfall, the highest in Ireland, cascading at 121 meters (398 feet). The historic Palladian mansion, rebuilt in the 19th century after a fire, stands as a testament to aristocratic grandeur, now hosting exhibitions and serving as a location for weddings and events.
