Very fun lake. Nice and easy to explore as a novice in a watercraft. Our mode of choice was a tandem kayak. Very varied and dynamic scenery the farther out you go.

Paddled that gauntlet with my wife and son awhile back. The slithering snake between the two ends of the lake was so cool. Absolutely stunning

This is a beautiful summertime lake to visit. I love to stand up paddleboard there. Parking can be kind of difficult so maybe go early or late in the day to find a an easy spot.

Really unique Kayaking experience. Recommend water shoes if you plan on doing any swimming as there isn’t really any beaches. It’s more for kayaking/paddle boarding. I got so hot I had to jump in the lake a few times and water shoes would have helped on the sharp rocks.
