We visited around the end of October 2024. The Fall colors were amazing. The views here are spectacular. The day we were here it was windy and 42° perfect weather for me. Highly recommend visiting Clingman's Dome. The drive is amazing.

It's a surprisingly steep walk up an asphalt path to get to the overlook, with multiple benches along the way if you need to rest. Great 360 degree views all around. There were plenty of parking spaces at 10:00 on a Saturday when I was there.

Nice place within the Smoky mountain. There is paid parking of $5 and restrooms are available. From the parking lot you have to climb up the hill for about 0.5 miles to reach the beautiful view point. I saw a notice that it will be closed from Dec 2024.
