Amazing hiking experience for our group of 5. Shaded 95% of the time/ during summer. Easy to Moderate difficulty. Get there early to find parking or you'll be walking a half mile before you start your hike.

We loved this trail! We went on labor day weekend so it was very busy and we had a hard time finding parking. Our group ages ranged from 5yrs old to 70 years old! One of the older folks didn't make it to inspiration point, that all depends on your personal health and stamina though. I felt the trail was clean and well kept. The terrain is different throughout. Some rocky spots, steep steps, drop offs but that's what makes it fun right!?

I chose this trail based on other reviews and it did not disappoint. It's scenic the entire way following a stream for most of the trail. It has unique features with the stairs going through an overhang. The top of the trail at the Alum Cave Bluff is pretty steep and is loose dirt. I hiked this one by myself but I would have been watching my children closely at the top. Also, parking is limited. I'd recommend getting there early.

Totally worth 3 hours of hiking, the hike was easy to navigate and elevation ascend gradually. It also has multiple scenic stopping points to take in the view and enjoy the scenery. 👍🏻
We went in October on a weekday so parking wasn’t hard to find.
