This is a beautiful hike. I went on a weekend when you are required to park off site and take a shuttle but it runs every 15 minutes and is a short ride.
The hike is a fun one and when you reach the "end of trail" sign it really isn't the end of the trail, take a left and go around the corner for more great views.

I didn’t aspire to reaching the summit, and I certainly didn’t achieve it. The beginning of the trail was fine for me, but farther up it was a scramble over smooth rock. I saw kids and grandparents heading up so it’s certainly no impossible feat, but I was happy to go as far as I did as see what I saw. It’s gorgeous.

Well kept trail going out and back. Pretty easy, with a couple instances of 3-6 steps. Base of the mountain has sprawling, sweeping, slightly rounded rocks to walk around on (like the square footage of a large shopping mall). We loved the landscape, plenty of space to explore. Also there is an outhouse at the trail head, which is always nice.
Note that parking lot has probably 30 spaces total (very limited) and is not even open Thursday- Sunday. You’ll have to park at an off-site area and take a shuttle. We went on a Wednesday at dusk and didn’t have trouble, but the road is quite windy and narrow.

Overall really good hike. Do come early because if I cannot get filled up very quickly and you don't want to be the one parking in overflow unless you can avoid it. Be prepared to pay for a week or $15 or for one day you can pay $5. Bring lots of water, wear less clothes, very gripping hiking shoes, it is not a hike it is a scramble. All way up. Fun, advanced and incredible views

This hike was one of the best we’ve ever done. We started early in the dark to catch the sunrise at the top, which was absolutely worth it—plus, it’s much quieter at that time. Calling it “easy” is definitely a joke, especially as you get closer to the summit, but if you’re fit and don’t mind heights, it’s totally doable. The climb is a lot of fun, and the breathtaking views at the top are the ultimate reward. Highly recommend!
