I was very pleased with my experience with Taylor Creek Fly Fishing Shop. The personnel at the shop were very accommodating. Though I fly fish a lot it was still helpful that they have an online check list to make sure you have not forgotten anything. Kosma was the guide that they scheduled with us. He did a fantastic job connecting with us the night before the trip to confirm all arrangements. He was on time when he met us at the shop and quickly got us out on the Frying Pan river to fish. I had booked a whole day trip for my son and I. We caught a lot of fish which could not have been easy for Kosma, but he was always there with the net. Even though I am an experienced fly fisherman I learned a ton from him. Kosma is probably the best guide I have ever worked with. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He worked his butt off to make sure my son and I had a wonderful day of fishing.
I would highly recommend Taylor Creek Fly Fishing Shop and Kosma to anyone.

I hosted a women's fly fishing retreat in the area and Taylor Creek worked with us to coordinate guides - Shannon and Sam were great! Thanks so much, we look forward to working with you again when we're back there in April!

I tell you what! There is something to be said about the quality of service provided by the Taylor Creek Fly Shop, specifically our guide, Glenn. The brief period of instruction by Glenn was spot on. Educational, helpful, and humorous. Fishing in the Frying Pan river was an absolutely awesome experience. I cannot recommend Glenn highly enough to all of you reading this. He is an expert in the craft and an outstanding individual to get to know.
Additionally, you don't have to tie a single fly, net your fish (because you WILL catch several: brown and rainbow trout), unhook your fish, or anything other than actually fish (unless of course you want to). All the gear and tackle is provided by the shop and included in the booking price.
It was such an enjoyable, soul calming experience. So much so that I went twice during my week in Aspen, and I will be back! This is all catch and release, because as Glenn says, "It's bad business to kill your business associates."
Give a man a fish, feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, feed him for a lifetime.
